Hi Imogen, I wonder if you could help me with my body shape because eventhough I’ve read your post I still can’t figure it out. My shoulder-waist-hip measurements are 36.5’’- 27” – 36”. I’m 164cm talk and have a pretty flat body profile when looking from the side. Thank you 🙂
Measurements don’t tell you shape – you need to take your photo from the front (this is body shape – it’s a silhouette from the front – and compare how wide shoulders and hips appear – and then if you have a defined waist or not! Your measurements seem to indicate a defined waist – but without seeing it in an image – I can’t tell you! I do give body shape analysis as part of my 7 Steps to Style Program https://insideoutstyleblog.com/7-steps-to-style-system or you can try my body calculator free https://insideoutstyleblog.com/2016/03/want-to-figure-out-your-body-shape-try-my-quiz.html
Hi Imogen, thanks for replying! I’m still not sure whether I am an X shape or I shape. My natural waist is narrower than my under bust, but the slope from my waist to hips are pretty small😣 Any tips on differentiating the two body types?
