What is the secret to great style?
Being yourself, having fun, understanding what flatters your figure.
What is the one thing you would spend a lot of money on?
Sentimental keepsake jewellery.
What is the one thing you wouldn’t spend a lot of money on?
Cleanser. Cetaphil cleanser is recommended by dermatologists and is really inexpensive.
How do you balance new trends with a more timeless look?
There are a bunch of classic basics every woman needs – especially once we have kids. I compiled my top 13 here. Updating these with accessories – in particular sunglasses will keep you current, and on trend.

What is your current obsession?
My House of Harlow Sunglasses and bright lipstick. I’ve been loving orange lipstick this year (detracts from my tired, sleep deprived eyes) but since I took a dare to wear red lipstick every day for a week, I’ve become a convert. Va va voom!
Who inspires you?
My husband. He marches to the beat of his own drum.
What’s not worth the money?
If you love it, and it makes you feel good, then it’s worth it 😉
What’s your secret to making yourself stand out?
Being yourself and wearing what you love, regardless of trends. No one can replicate that.
Andrea’s stacked bracelets
What is your favourite current trend?
Stacked bracelets. I’m loving the clinky, clunky sound, and that I get to wear all of my favourite things at once.
What’s your favourite short cut to style?
A classic black tailored jacket over anything. Fail safe.
What’s the worst current trend?
I’m slightly unnerved by huge, fake Kardashian-style eyelashes.

My inspiration – style wise, my aunt. Colourful, fun, takes risks, doesn’t follow trends but is current
My favourite trend. Layering, anything and everything. I have always layered and I love it. T-shirts, jewellery, dresses,etc.

Worst trend – Yes, Yes, Kardashian lashes and everything else. Too much make up, too much hair.

Wonderful conversation! Andrea is very lucky to have an inspiring life partner. I had also heard about Cetaphil cleanser but it is not available in my country and I cannot afford the shipping costs.
