For some mid-week fun.
Like many people, I love a quiz (especially when it’s short), and I particularly love colour quizzes, and quizzes about personality, so how lucky was I to stumble over this great colour quiz.
I discovered that I’m yellow:
You are quite the powerful thinker. It’s this talent that allows you to overcome a plethora of great obstacles. Luckily, this doesn’t affect your ego and you give off a pretty easy-going appearance. You enjoy the finer things in life and also have an attraction to art. If you can help it, you try not to rock the boat. But you also can’t stop yourself from searching for new ideas, methods or styles.
And I have to say I find this pretty accurate.
What colour are you?
I was yellow too.
I'm purple. Funny, but that's my favorite color. The description doesn't describe my personality at all, but what I WANT to be. I wish I were relaxed and spontaneous. So the quiz is accurate in a way, but not the way it was intended to be.
How funny, I got purple, which actually is my favorite color. The description matches the way I am when I'm not under stress… wish I could be a true "purple" more often.
I was purple also! Those days that are truly fabulous I'm enjoying classic 'purple' days.
I'm also a yellow. And I think it fits my personality.
I am also a yellow, and the description definitely suits me. Thanks for the quiz link!
I am purple. It was fairly accurate but I don't consider myself conservative in most ways. I don't particularly like purple either! But, fun.
Yellow- and I dislike yellow! But the choices, especially "what are you wearing" one did not give me any options that I would pick. So I am revising that yellow into orange, which I like.
This was fun but as Duchesse said, like most of these quizzes it lacked options.
I rarely wear ANY of the clothing preferences – Even when I have to be sort of dressed for work it would be something like my comfy boiled wool jacket and a skirt and a pretty scarf (nerdy academic I guess). I only wear something akin to sweatpants or yoga pants for housework or some kinds of exercise, and rarely wear jeans.
I'm also yellow – a colour I like on walls in some nuances (warm Latino ones) but not usually to wear. Much prefer violets and purples. The description does apply though. Attraction to art is rather an understatement.
It gave me purple – which I love! Probably my favorite color. Parts of the description fit, other parts didn't. But either way, it got the color right!
Yikes! I'm black. But that supposedly means a need for serenity, which is deeply true:).
Red. I must have made a mistake somewhere. Red is not my color, never, ever. All a big mistake 😉
I'm same as LPC! Black. Also true that need serenity.
– tall & slim anon
I got Red!
Got red, too, and I don't like it! It was fun, though, thanks! Ciao. A.
Yellow; The colour of the roof of my childhood's house, the colour of my working/writing space…
Well, I am red…which is the colour I most detest. Lol! Oh I see Metscan is the same. The quiz was a little restrictive and short but fun. Imogen, I am going to email you tomorrow 🙂
I was yellow too. Definately fits my personality, but not a colour I particularly like. I'm definately a green girl, but do gravitate towards yellowish murky greens.
Gotta defend RED. For me the quiz was right on. I've loved red as long as I can remember, a long time at 67 years old. As I look back, most of my most successful clothes have been red. It worked when I was honey blond, when I was light brown, when I went back to golden blond, and now with ivory white/gray hair. It makes me feel good. Fortunately, as an "H", I can wear my bright red slim slacks this summer, again. Of course, at my age I can do anything I want, and it will either work or it will be eccentric.
I'm Brown – outdoorsy (I love gardening and bush walks), relaxed, not chasing the latest fashion trend (prefering my own style I guess) and comfortable with my own company. Not too far off the mark
I got RED.
Don't know about the colour but, the description is excellent. Exactly as I see myself moving forward.
Wonder what I would have been 6 months ago?
Adorable.
