I’ve recently also been trying to find clothes in turquoise and brilliant blue. Zara had a couple of great brilliant blue tops. However, I had a good look at quite a few vintage and second hand shops – and since these colours aren’t in fashion at the moment there’s a good chance of finding a several pieces there. Wonderful post, as usual Imogen😄 I have a question for you about makeup. I have a go-to makeup look which really brings out my natural coloring. I was wondering if it was considered a monochromatic look or a neutral + 1 situation. I figure the mascara is neutral, and maybe the gloss is too? Really trying to get the hang of this!
I use Great Lash mascara in Brownish Black. For blush I combine NudeStix “Naughty & Spice” blush with NudeStix “Sunkissed” blush. Finally, I finish with NYX butter gloss in the shade “Butterscotch”.
That sounds fairly natural makeup – which won’t read as a lot of colour – the blush will give you some colour!
Thank you! Having some framework for how I should pair colors really helps me create fresh looks while staying true to my coloring. Plus it helps me to translate looks that inspire me into my own color palette!
Glad to help!
