Mixing Animal Prints and a Floral Pattern

Today I decided to mix zebra with leopard and then throw in a floral ribbon lace textured garment.

One of the most important keys to mixing prints is to mix those in the same colour family. If you want to try this trend in a safe way:

1. do it in black and white
2. one print is over a larger surface area than the other
3. ideally prints should be different sizes (one larger, one smaller)

So you can see by these rules:

The floral lace (pattern) is still in the same colour palette (black) as the other prints (black and white).

The floral lace is a larger scale pattern than the smaller scale leopard

The zebra necklace is a much smaller item (takes up less space) and in a smaller scale than the leopard and the floral.
