Today Jill Chivers of My Year Without Clothes Shopping and I discuss how to use accessories to change your look in this short video
This is a very nice, informative video. However, next time could you possibly consider doing this indoors? The background noise made it hard to hear sometimes!
Annie – apologies – Jill is from Queensland and came to Melbourne and the only place we could make the videos was outside and it was noiser than we expected (inside where we were was even noiser). I promise next time we make videos we’ll go somewhere quieter!
Hye, Imogen I looove your website, very knowledgable, informative and delivered in such an easy learning style everyone can understand. So first off, Thank you for posting your blogs, and updating us with new quality info. as you do. I’ve learned stuff here i’ve never learned or would have learned anywhere else. So it is a true blessing. In a previous video you talked about matching colors with same color properties…medium with medium and light with light. So why does your friend’s creme colored blazer (light color/value ) work soo well with that print brown top (medium color/value)? Can you please explain to me? is it because they are in the same color family?…Thank you!
Yes they are the same family, plus they are NEUTRALS (not colous that you’d find on the colour wheel. Neutrals are much easier to work with in different values than colours are. Also, they are a similar slighly soft intensity, one is not bright, while the other dull.
