0:08 My question is would you be able to shed some light on why I can never style my wide leg grey trousers in a way that I feel comfortable in them. They are in my colour palette sublime, they create the correct silhouette and they have an element of relaxed to them. And yet when I wear them I always feel like I’m wearing my grandpas pants! And yet I can style my black wide leg pants absolutely fine. My personality is predominantly relaxed with creative thrown in. So I am wondering if it’s perhaps because classic doesn’t make an appearance in my style personality and maybe the grey pants fall too heavily into that style. Would that maybe explain why I always feel like I’m wearing my grandpas pants?

Awesome video! Regarding the wide-leg grey pants conundrum, I have come across the same thing, and what can make them look “Nanna” is the style of the accompanying shoes and top. I won’t wear an open-toed shoe that looks like it could be a Homy-Ped. Thin strappy sandals, platform shoes, heels or elegant
boots all look fine. The top also needs to look modern and give the appearance of a waist – for example a fitted tee, or a tucked-in blouse. Finish with a fun accessory or two.
