Weekend Reading: 16 July 2011

This week I spent most of my time awake moving my blog from blogger to wordpress and reconfiguring it all… so much technical stuff for a non-techie is making my head explode.

I really hope you like the new improved site and I’m in the process of installing a forum so you can communicate here, ask questions, share your tips too.  You can register using your Facebook account too which is great, no need for more passwords!  I hope to have that all figured out in the next week or so, but do go on and introduce yourself and tell us a little about you, where you’re from and share any style questions.

I haven’t yet moved over my blogroll – and it’s definitely time to update it – so if you have a blog and would like to be included please email me your details and your blog details via the contact page.

If you were a Follower on my blog, I’m not sure how that worked, but please feel free to check and see if I still appear in your dashboard list.  If Inside Out Style doesn’t appear anymore I’d love you to subscribe again to it – there are a bunch of buttons in the right margin to help you find a way to connect.

My ebook The Finishing Touch was roadtested and reviewed over at the great parenting blog Planning with Kids

Loved this post by Not Dead Yet Style that your body does not have problems.

Yesterday I wrote a post about not buying clothes that don’t fit and then I go reading this post at Dress With Courage which ads a few more great reasons about why you shouldn’t do it (or keep that stuff in your wardrobe if you’ve already bought it).

Your Signature Image posted on how to stay warm and appropriately dressed  in an air-conditioned office

And for a topic to ponder, particularly if you’re a mother of a girl – Should we praise girls for being pretty over on The Beheld.
