In This Episode

I recently got this question from an Inside Out Style reader:
I struggle with not knowing how to combine clothes harmoniously and interestingly
And I thought – you’re not the only one – and it’s because knowing your body shape doesn’t tell you how to do this (and that’s what most people think they need to know to become stylish). Instead, there is so much more to this question and struggle to unpack.

You need a style recipe
You need to know how to create harmony in design and colours
You need to know what is interesting to you in clothing and outfits – what’s your interpretation?
You need to understand your personality and how you want to align your style to express it so it feels authentic and the best version of you.
Following other people’s “must have” lists or “outfit formulas” just doesn’t cut it and will never make you feel like you’re stylish in a genuine way.
