Did you know that Classic has two distinctly different meanings with regards to style?

Aideen wrote to me and said “Hi Imogen, when people describe Classic styes they always stick to the same colour palette – in your blog you say ‘Classic colours are navy, black, white, grey and a little light blue’. I am definitely a classic dresser but NONE of those colours do anything for me! I need to go for the browns, rusts, greens, khaki, the autumn range of colours.”

The thought that jumped at me when I read this was that there is actually confusion about what the word “classic mean with regards to personal style.
